How to start your enquiry
Start with your drawing or a clearly specified standard design and the required quantity. Add any other details that are already known.
The enquiry helper prepares a draft in your email application. This website does not send a message. Alternatively, you can copy the enquiry text. Add drawings as attachments in your email application.
- Material and key dimensional, form, position, surface and hardness requirements. Limit sizes, fits and functionally important features should be shown on the drawing.
- Order quantity, required delivery location and date. Please specify whether the date refers to completion or arrival. For series production, annual demand and planned call-off quantities or frequency are also helpful.
- Application and any specific requirements for initial samples, inspection documentation, cleaning, coating or packaging. Before preparing a quotation, we clarify which requirements we can fulfil.

For an initial enquiry about clearly specified standard piston pins, the quantity, outside and inside diameters, length and standard design may be sufficient. Please identify the exact standard; we agree additional requirements before preparing a quotation.

Plan samples and series production
Where material is in stock, up to 6 weeks for samples and 6–8 weeks for series production serve as a guide. If material is unavailable, we agree the schedule separately. For the quotation, we check material availability and capacity utilisation. We agree when the lead time starts and the completion or delivery date in the quotation.

Annual quantities with call-offs as needed
You can order an annual quantity that we manufacture in a single batch and hold in stock. You then call off quantities as needed. We agree storage and delivery terms together.
